You are Loved, You are Perfect, You are Made Worthy.
"Before I spoke a word, you were singing over me, you have been so so good to me, before i took a breath you breathed your life in me, you have been so so kind to me... oh the overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God..." -Mass Anthem
Now I know what you are thinking,"Yeah, yeah, yeah...whatever Sara, I've heard this a thousand times, I'm loved and perfect, I still don't believe it". Well you better believe it and I'm about to tell you why!
Before I begin though, I just want to give you some encouraging thoughts because I believe it was God that led you to this post.
If you are reading this I want you to know that....
You are sooo much stronger than you know.
What you are going through is just a part of your story, it's not the end.
You are not too far gone.
We are not home yet, but while we are still on Earth we need to make it our goal to encourage, love and plant as many seeds of Christ as we can.
I know you get down on yourself sometimes and I don't think you give yourself enough credit. You are working so hard and I know you have goals that you want to reach.
Keep at what you love, People see you, God sees your hard work.
Stay close to God and when you feel like you can't fight anymore, just say the name "Jesus".
There is so much power in the name of "Jesus'.
Lift your head beautiful.
Be confident for Christ and let the world see Christ through you.
You better believe you are loved and perfect because God has made you worthy!
Before God formed you in the womb, before you were even a thought, He knew you, and He had a plan for you. Each and every one of your days were already written out before you entered this world. God saw your darkness, but filled with only love, He sent his son to the cross for you.
"...O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me..." -Psalm 139:1-5
We are not worthy of God's love and forgiveness, there is none righteous, no not one.
"As it is written: None is righteous, no, not one;" -Romans 3:10
God has made us worthy, by sending his son to the cross to die a shameful and agonizing death.
I am not worthy, but God made me worthy.
I am not righteous but i became the righteousness of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
"This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile," -Romans 3:22
You see, we are not perfect or anything of that sort, but we were MADE perfect and given a clean slate through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Jesus showed his love for us that while we were still sinner's he died for us.
He died for those that cursed at him and spit in his face.
He died for those that beat him and whipped him with the cat of nine tails.
He died for those that laughed in His face.
He died for those that turned away from Him.
He died for the sinners and the saints.
He died for you.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8
You don't have to be perfect to come to Christ, you just have to come to Him and He will make you perfect.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD.“Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.” -Isaiah 1:18
He will give you the love you have been searching for your whole life.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28
The day that you state in your heart and believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and ask for forgiveness, will be the day that you finally feel free.
“But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved..." -Joel 2:32
I hope you see your worth, your beauty, your perfection and realize how special you are, and the fact that a perfect, all powerful God sent his son to die so that you may have eternal life after your time on Earth is finished. You have a hope and future and I pray that you know that. If you have questions or need some words of encouragement please do not hesitate to message me.
I love you so much friend and thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. I am in no way a grammar expert and it can be difficult for me to get my point across at times so I truly hope you could get something from this<3
With love, Sara M. Weisbrodt
